Lothringen
"Lothringen" ist eine Region im Nordosten Frankreichs. Sie besteht aus den Départements Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle und Vosges. Lothringen hat eine Fläche von 23.547 km² ... . Hauptstadt der Region ist Metz. Der Name der Region bezieht sich auf das historische Herzogtum Lothringen. Im innerdeutschen Sprachgebrauch bezeichnet der historische Begriff ’’Lothringen’’ teilweise nur den 1871-1918 zum Deutschen Reich gehörenden Bezirk Lothringen beziehungsweise das 1940-1945 existierende CdZ-Gebiet Lothringen, die beide das heutige Departement Moselle umfassten. - (Wikipedia 03.02.2014)

Blaue Deckelschale
Description ...
Die blau leuchtene Deckeschale oder, auch Butterdose, aus vermutlich Vallerysthal/Meisenthal um 1870, ist sogenanntes Pressglas. Sie steht auf drei Füßen, die wohl Fische darstellen und ist am Deckel mit einer Girlande aus Muscheln geschnmückt. Auch der Griff ist eine große Muschel.
