Halbfigur nach links mit dem Stern des Hosenbandordens. Philip Herbert, 4. Earl of Pembroke und 1. Earl of Montgomery (1584–1650), englischer Höfling, Politiker und Kunstförderer. Nach einem Gemälde von Anthonis van Dyck. Philip und sein älterer Bruder William sind das ’incomparable pair of brethren’, dem die First Folio Ausgabe von Shakespeares Gesammelten Werke aus dem Jahr 1623 gewidmet ist.
